Elementary School Counseling

Ms Allison Wither is the Elementary School Counselor responsible for the academic and personal/counselling of students from the Eingangsklasse to grade five (K-5).
Ms. Wither works collaboratively with teachers to plan and implement developmental lessons that meet the needs of individual classrooms and grade levels. Counseling units are presented on a rotating basis, focusing on one grade level at a time with the goal of impacting every student in the school. In addition to the classroom counseling work, Ms. Wither is the faculty liaison for the Student Council and is responsible for the training and daily supervision of the Student Mediator Program. Student Mediators are volunteer students in fifth and sixth grades who have been extensively trained to work with their peers in conflict situations.
