The JFKS Elementary Student Council (SC) is made up of 40 students from 20 homeroom classes. Each class elects a German and an American representative. We, the members, serve to improve the school and learn about leadership and democracy. The main goals of the SC include: 1. providing students with real leadership opportunities Mr. Smith is the staff member who works with the SC. Our big successes in the 2004–2005 school year have been the founding of the elementary school SC, a € 750 penny drive for the children in Africa affected by war and hunger, and our campaign to clean up the school grounds. |
