There are a number of services available to students:

1. Tutoring: Do you need a tutor for one or more of your subjects? Contact your counselor.

2. Personal Difficulties: Do you need to talk to someone? These are the people to see.

a. Peer Helpers: these are students especially trained to listen and provide support. These students are located in B 219. The sponsor is Ms. Hepner

b. Contact Teachers: There are two Contact Teachers trained to help you with problems you are encountering in school. The two contact teachers are Frau Gruner and Mr. Finstad.

c. Counselors in Haus Reil: We provide confidential help for you for any difficulty.
Kara Krull grades 6-9
Ian Lally grades 10-13

d. Ms. Lopocz Pedagogical Assistant: A lady you can depend on for any personal difficulty. See her in B203.

e. Ms. Ney Pedagogical Assistant located in the Guidance Office: Ms. Ney is the contact person for Students and Staff Concerned. This group of students and teachers investigate, confidentially, acts of bullying or harassment.

f. Peer Mediators: these are students who meet regularly to help settle disputes that arise among other students. This group is sponsored by Ms. Ney, Frau Lopocz, and Ms. Krull.

4. Personal Sickness: If you get sick during the day, see Ms. Cornwall (W103) or Frau Barmeyer (W102).

5. Joining an Activity: The most successful students belong to activity groups. The list is posted in the White building where the daily announcements and monthly calendar appear.

6. Trouble with your Schedule: In grades 7 – 10 .. see your counselor. For grades 11, 12, and 13 the Abitur students should see the Abitur Coordinators, Frau Stockmann or Herr Schulz. Diploma students in grades 11 and 12 should see Mr. Lally. No changes are possible without the counselors or the Abitur coordinators approving. Students under 18 must have the approval of their parents.
