German Abitur
Grades 11-12
At JFKS, the two-year upper secondary program leads to the Abitur, the general university entrance qualification, which entitles students to study at all universities and colleges in Germany. Further, the Abitur is directly recognized almost everywhere in the world.
At the same time, students at JFKS also earn the Diploma upon successful completion of the program.
Requirements for admission to the upper secondary program include successful completion of 10th grade, earning the MSA, taking a second foreign language starting no later than 8th grade, and not having received a reduced weighting on math tests during middle school.
Instruction in the upper secondary program is conducted almost exclusively in German.
