Please refer to the application form for a list of documents that must be submitted with the application.

Only complete applications with all necessary documents and signatures will be processed for admissions.

Applications submitted up until two weeks before the deadline will be notified if the application is incomplete while applications submitted shortly before the deadline will not be given an extension to submit missing information.

Only applications submitted digitally will be processed. Please send the scanned documents attached as (preferably one) PDF file.

We receive hundreds of applications per school year, consequently, we are unable to admit all applicants. Admission is possible only on a space-available basis and the number of spaces varies each school year. While we track sibling applications during the application process, it is possible that we cannot admit all siblings of one family if space is not available in the respective grade levels.

International Applicants

International or ‘third national’ students can be admitted to grades 1-6 if there are no German or American applicants on the waiting list. Generally, we are unable to admit all German and American applicants, therefore, international or ‘third national’ applicants are not considered for admission. We ask that you refrain from submitting an application.

The first semester at JFKS in grades 7-12 is probationary.

High School Diploma applicants for grade 12 must have successfully completed a 'US History' class. American students applying from the US may have the possibility to complete a ‘US History’ course online. German students who have not taken ‘US History’ before are not be eligible for admission.

We do not accept applicants for grade 12 in the Abitur program.
