  • Giving a positive input on health and physical efficiency
  • Promoting physical, emotional, intellectual and social development
  • Enjoying physical activities as a prerequisite for life-time sports

8th Grade Ski Trip

Every year in March our 8th graders travel to Austria for the annual 8th grade ski trip.

Approximately 130+ students and 14 teachers will spend almost two weeks in the ski area Hochfügen in Zillertal/Austria. We depart by bus from JFKS early on Sunday morning and will return to JFKS on a Friday afternoon.

This trip is a fantastic opportunity and we encourage all 8th graders to participate.

JFKS Fun Run

Every two years in September, the Verein organizes the JFKS Fun Run, a school-wide event to raise funds for projects that benefit the entire school, such as technology, playground or sports equipment.

Students find sponsors who donate money for every lap run. Older students compete in games and this year you may actually see some teachers in costumes run the track!
